AMMAN — Minister of State for Media Affairs Amjad Adaileh on Wednesday voiced appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s invitation to Jordan to take part in the upcoming Saudi-hosted G-20 summit. Jordan received the invitation from Saudi Arabia to participate as a guest of honour in the Riyadh-hosted G-20 summit scheduled to be held next November.
Adaileh made his remarks during a dialogue meeting held to discuss Jordan’s participation in the summit, with the attendance of Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif Bin Bandar Al Sudairi, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Saudi Arabia’s invitation to Jordan highlights the deep-rooted ties the two countries enjoy, Adaileh said. For his part, the Saudi envoy stressed his country’s keenness on laying the groundwork for Jordan to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the G-20 summit.
