Jordan takes part in ITB Berlin exhibition

AMMAN — Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and Chairman of the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) Majd Shweikeh on Wednesday inaugurated the Jordanian wing participating in the 2019 Internationale Tourismus-Börse (ITB) Berlin tourism and travel exhibition in Germany.
The minister’s visit and Jordan’s participation in the exhibition, is part of the JTB’s efforts to promote tourism in Jordanian.
The exhibition is open from March 6-10. JTB General Director Abed Al Razzaq Arabiyat was part of the Jordanian delegation at the exhibition in addition to 24 hotels and travel agencies from around the Kingdom.
In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Shweikeh stressed on the importance of Jordan’s participation, pointing out that tourism representatives from 120 countries will also be participating.
