Jordan reaffirms commitment to supporting Palestinians

AMMAN — Jordan is committed to continuing its political, diplomatic and legal steps in supporting the Palestinian issue and achieving justice for Palestinians, acting director general of the Palestinian Affairs Department, Nidal Haddad, said on Sunday.

At the inauguration ceremony of the supervisors of Palestinian refugees affairs conference in Cairo, Haddad added that the Kingdom believes that the Palestinian issue is the core of regional conflicts, and that the region will not restore peace and stability without reaching a solution to this issue.

The five-day conference will be discussing Palestinian refugees’ affairs in Arab host countries, Israeli violations in the Palestinian territories, and the UNRWA’s financial burdens, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
