Police seize 118,000 narcotic pills, 248 palm-sized sheets of hashish

AMMAN — A joint security force from the Northern Badia Police Department and Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have arrested a suspected drug dealer in possession of large amounts of drugs in Northern Badia, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday.
The Northern Badia CID had received a tip-off that the suspect is hiding large amounts of narcotics in his house for trafficking purposes, a security source said, adding that the department immediately started collecting information upon receiving the tip-offs.
A security force then raided the suspect’s house where 118,000 narcotic pills and 248 palm-sized sheets of hashish were seized, while the suspect was arrested and referred for investigation, according to the source.
