Former Royal Court chief Tarawneh appointed as senator

AMMAN — A Royal Decree was issued on Wednesday appointing Fayez Tarawneh as senator, as of June 20. Another Royal Decree was issued on Wednesday accepting the resignation of Rajai Muasher from the Senate as of June 14, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Tarawneh on Tuesday extended his resignation as Royal Court chief to His Majesty King Abdullah, while Muasher was sworn in last week as deputy prime minister and minister of state in Prime Minister Omar Razzaz’ Cabinet.
