AMMAN — Border Guards on Tuesday night foiled an infiltration attempt by three people who tried to enter the Kingdom from Syria, a source at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), said on Wednesday.
Border Guards applied the rules of engagement followed in such cases, resulting in the arrest of one suspect, while the other two managed to run back into Syria, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, quoted the JAF source as saying.
The guards seized three bags containing 606,000 narcotics pills and referred them to relevant institutions, the source said.
