Workshop to examine draft culture strategy

AMMAN — The EU-funded regional programme Med Culture, is holding its second National Consultative Workshop on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, in Amman.

The workshop will present the first draft of the National Strategy for culture, as a concrete result of the deliberations and exchanges that took place during the plenary sessions and working groups organised throughout the first National Consultative Workshop convened in Amman in May, according to a statement released by Med Culture.

This first draft of the strategy was developed with the “active participation” of the Ministry of Culture, as well as a broad participation of Jordanian cultural operators. It received the ministry’s approval in September.
