By JT - Nov 28,2016 - Last updated at Nov 28,2016

AMMAN — Water Minister Hazem Nasser on Monday said Jordan is facing "huge challenges" such as water shortage and the repercussions of regional crises, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Nasser delivered his remarks on behalf of Prime Minister Hani Mulki at the Budapest Water Summit 2016 and the meetings of the World Water Council, during which he met with representatives of donor parties and international humanitarian organisations.

The Kingdom shares 40 per cent of its water resources with neighbouring countries, Nasser said, highlighting the impact of climate change on Jordan.
