AMMAN — The Public Security Department (PSD), represented by the rehabilitation and correctional centres administration, the Central Traffic Department (CTD) and the Rangers organised a Ramadan day to showcase their humanitarian and social role, a PSD statement said Thursday.
The Jweideh Correctional and Rehabilitation Centre organised on Wednesday an iftar that brought the inmates together with their families to break the daylong fast. The Rangers organised a day for children diagnosed with cancer to share the iftar meal with their families and senior officers. The CTD on Wednesday distributed brochures to drivers to encourage them not to speed near iftar time, the statement said.
