Two dead, six injured in separate incidents

AMMAN — Two men, aged 24 and 22 , died and another was injured in a three-vehicle collision near a traffic light in the southern governorate of Maan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Also on Wednesday, a driver was injured when his vehicle overturned in Tafileh, a Civil Defence Department (CDD) statement said.

Tafileh CDD cadres administered first aid to the man and took him to Prince Zeid Military Hospital where he was listed in fair condition.

On Tuesday night, four people suffered injuries in a restaurant fire in Northern Shuneh and CDD cadres took them to Princess Basma Hospital.

Northern Ghor District Governor Adnan Otoum said the fire spread to four nearby shops and a vehicle passing by the restaurant, causing damages. The fire was caused by the explosion of a gas cylinder.
