Six defendants jailed for ‘conspiring to commit criminal acts’

AMMAN — The State Security Court on Wednesday sentenced three defendants to eight years in prison for conspiring to carry out criminal acts, in the case dubbed as “the Amman National and Ghamadan Park”.
The court found the defendants, who worked in renting horses for riding at the park, had collaborated to carry out several thefts at the facility, located on the airport road, using firearms and sharp tools, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The SSC also sentenced another three defendants to eight years in prison for conspiring to carry out criminal acts. The defendants had robbed three gas cylinder warehouses in east Amman.
