AMMAN — The Council of Ministers on Tuesday decided that it will continue with its sales tax exemption on retail traders whose sales are between JD50,000 and JD75,000.
The decision is effective from January until the end of the year.
The Income and Sales Tax Department on Tuesday said the government’s decision seeks to encourage commercial activity, pointing out that traders should keep regular records of their commercial activities.
