Committee discusses Senate code of conduct

AMMAN — The committee tasked with drafting the Senate code of conduct on Tuesday discussed the draft.
Senator Mohammad Thweib said the code of conduct will be part of the Senate’s internal regulations after its endorsement and all senators will have to abide by it.
It seeks to activate the Senate’s role and foster democracy and the respect of other views, he noted.
