AMMAN — The Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies and Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) on Friday launched the “Shared values to counter extremist ideology” workshop, with the participation of several young people from across the Kingdom.

Majeda Omar, director of the institute, said that the environment that support any form of extremism is one that alienates human values and intercultural dialogue, which focuses on mutual respect, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Hussam Irahayel, Jordan project coordinator at FNF, said dialogue is an effective tool for achieving consensus in communities.
