TAFILEH — Tafileh Civil Defence Department (CDD) personnel on Saturday rescued three people who had lost their way in a valley near Sanfaha village in Tafileh Governorate, some 180km southwest of Amman.
Tafileh CDD Director Col. Nayef Nawaiseh said the rescue team walked for more than 18 kilometres to reach them due to the rough topography of the area, which made it impossible to use vehicles.
One of the three rescued people suffered sunstroke and was taken to Prince Zeid Military Hospital where he was reported to be in fair condition.
