Three dead, three injured in separate incidents

AMMAN — Three people died in separate accidents around Jordan, the Civil Defence Department (CDD) said Sunday.
A 28-year-old construction worker fell to his death while working at a building site in Amman’s Abu Nseir area. Zarqa CDD cadres said a 30-year-old woman in Hitteen camp was using a washing machine when she was electrocuted and died immediately.
In Jerash, a 20-year-old died when an elevator he was in fell from the fifth to the first floor in a building still under construction.
In Tafileh, three people were injured on Sunday when their vehicle hit a herd of sheep on the Tafileh-Hasa road, according to the CDD.
They were taken to Prince Zeid Military Hospital where they were listed in good condition, Tafileh CDD Director Col. Nayef Nawaiseh said, adding that 14 sheep died and eight were injured in the incident.
