One dead, two critically injured in two accidents

AMMAN/KARAK — A 55-year-old man died and another man was injured when their vehicle overturned in Tafileh, the Civil Defence Department (CDD) said Monday.

Department cadres administered first aid to the injured man and took him to Prince Zeid Military Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

Also on Monday, a man in his fifties was critically injured at Al Thinnyeh Square, east of Karak, after his vehicle veered off the road, according to the Karak CDD.

The man’s car hit several parked vehicles and then crashed into a shop front after he crossed a red light while speeding, according to the CDD.
