Two dead, three injured in separate incidents

AMMAN — A 13-year-old boy died and three suffered shortness of breath on Tuesday in Maan as a result of inhaling gases emitted from their fireplace, a Civil Defence Department (CDD) statement said.

CDD cadres administered first aid to the injured and took them to Queen Rania Hospital where they were listed in fair condition. Also on Tuesday, a woman in her fifties died in Deir Aby Saeed after a bus hit her. Police initiated an investigation into the incident, according to the CDD.
