AMMAN — A source on Saturday denied reports that HRH Prince Hamzeh had been detained or placed under house arrest as some media outlets claim, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Earlier in the day, Sherif Hassan Ben Zeid and former minister Bassem Awadallah, among others, were arrested for security reasons, a security source said.
Investigations are underway into the issue, Petra, reported.
