Senate president, Chile ambassador talk ties

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez and Chilean Ambassador Rodrigo Espinosa Aguirre on Monday discussed bilateral relations and means of enhancing them, mainly in the economic field.

The meeting also went over means of increasing joint investments, in addition to the political developments in the region, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Fayez pointed out that Jordan's strategic location, economic relations with various global blocs and incentives for businesses constitute a “big opportunity” for enhancing economic relations between the two countries.

The Chilean ambassador referred to the “deep-rooted” ties in many fields, stressing his country's interest in bolstering relations with Jordan in economic fields, among others.
