Public institutions' work suspended for Independence Day — PM

AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh issued a circular announcing that ministries, official departments, public institutions, universities, municipalities including the Greater Amman Municipality and government-owned companies will observe a holiday on Thursday, May 25, in celebration of Jordan’s 77th Independence Day, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The announcement excluded ministries, official departments and institutes in which the nature of work requires otherwise.
