PSD affirms commitment to safeguarding citizens, property during assemblies

AMMAN — The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said on Thursday that it is doing its job to protect citizens and their properties and will enforce all instructions regarding assemblies to ensure the participants safety and security.  

In a statement, the PSD said that it will continue working according to security plans to guarantee compliance with the instructions on the locations where gathering is permitted. 

Gatherings along the borders or any other locations that may disturb the public or threaten the safety of citizens are not allowed, the statement said.
