The security forces will take all necessary measures to prevent gatherings in the Jordan Valley, the ministry said.
The areas along the borders with Palestine are restricted areas for protesters and the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army is responsible for maintaining security, the ministry said in a statement, quoted by Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The ministry called upon all political and popular leaders to abide by the instructions included in its statement.
The ministry is committed to guaranteeing freedom of expression throughout the Kingdom without affecting public properties, disturbing public order or jeopardising border security, read the statement.
The Interior Ministry, in the statement, stressed that it values citizens' high sense of responsibility towards the country's security and their adherence to the instructions regulating popular protests in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
