One of Jordan’s ‘main’ drug suppliers arrested — PSD

AMMAN — A drug trafficker associated with a regional drug smuggling network was arrested on Thursday, according to a Public Security Directorate (PSD) statement. 

The PSD spokesperson said that the suspect is considered one of the main drug suppliers disseminating drugs in the Kingdom, and is known for firing at security forces. 

The suspect is wanted on 10 counts of drug smuggling and trafficking, the spokesperson said, adding the individuals has been constantly changing locations to evade authorities. 

The suspect's movement was tracked from the Ruwaished area towards Mafraq Governorate, where he was searched, arrested and found in possession of two firearms and 10,000 narcotic pills, the spokesperson noted.
