Nine suspects arrested for 84 home burglaries

AMMAN — The North Amman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) personnel arrested nine suspects who were reportedly involved in 84 home burglaries, a Public Security Department (PSD) statement said Thursday.

The arrests were made after several Shafa Badran residents reported home robberies. Upon questioning, the suspects confessed to stealing from the 84 houses.

The suspects were in possession of two firearms and some of the stolen items, which were confiscated. The investigation is still under way.
