AMMAN — The National Charter Party on Monday condemned the recent racist remarks by an Israeli minister suggesting the use of a nuclear bomb on the besieged Gaza Strip. The Party considers these remarks to be an act of incitement and provocation and amount to a call for genocide and a hate crime that cannot be overlooked, according to a party statement. Mohammad Mommani, Secretary General of the party, said that such statements, urging the use of prohibited weapons with genocidal intent against civilian and humanitarian targets flagrantly violates international and humanitarian laws, Mommani said. He added "these statements represent a dangerous escalation that requires immediate action from the international community".
