Ministry working to help Jordanians stranded on Libya-Egypt border

AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry is following up on the issue of citizens stranded at the Libyan-Egyptian border.

The ministry’s spokesperson, Sabah Al Rafie, said a number of Jordanians and truck drivers are stuck at the Libyan-Egyptian border, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The ministry contacted the Jordanian embassy in Cairo and the Egyptian embassy in Amman to ensure the passage of those willing to return to the Kingdom from Libya through the Salloum border crossing, according to the spokesperson.
