Lower House insists on adding 'political parties' to IEC name

AMMAN — The Lower House on Monday insisted on maintaining its previous decision regarding amendments to the Independent Election Commission (IEC) Law. Deputies had refused senators' amendment that scrapped the "political parties" phrase from the name of IEC, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
