AMMAN — Under the patronage of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, the 18th Jordanian Chemical Conference (JCC18-2023), organised by the Hashemite University and the Jordanian Chemical Society, was opened by the university president, Fawaz Al Abedelhaq, on Tuesday.
The conference aims to provide an environment that encourages the exchange of scientific knowledge, academic partnerships, cooperation and communication between international, Arab and Jordanian researchers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The event, which includes 200 participants presenting around 65 different scientific papers, will discuss the latest scientific developments in chemistry and "link the results of chemistry education in Jordanian universities with industry, innovation and entrepreneurship", Abedelhaq said.
