AMMAN — The government is keen on communicating with Jordanians residing abroad, in implementation of the Royal directives to keep up with citizens’ affairs and aspirations in all government policies and decisions, Minister of Interior Salameh Hammad said on Thursday.

Hammad made his remarks during a meeting organised by the Jordanian Business Council and the Jordanian Society in Abu Dhabi, which was attended by a large number of Jordanian businesspeople and members of the Jordanian community in the UAE, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.

Hammad said that the government prioritises communication with Jordanians abroad to provide an opportunity to hear various views on issues of concern to Jordanian expatriates and make them effective partners in national development.

Secretary of the Council in Dubai Mohammad Shawabkeh said that the government’s approach to conducting meetings in its various ministries and institutions plays a very important role in overcoming obstacles and clarifying issues that concern Jordanians abroad and their investments.
