Energy Ministry inks research MoU with Al al-Bayt University

AMMAN — The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding with Al al-Bayt University to collaborate on geological research and studies related to natural resources, as well as planning and formulating scientific and research proposals. 

The memorandum was signed by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Al Kharabsheh and President of Al al-Bayt University Hani Al Dmour, according to a ministry statement. 

In press remarks following the signing, Kharabsheh highlighted the importance of cooperation between official institutions and Jordanian universities. 

He emphasised the potential for the memo to yield positive results in addressing the Kingdom's energy challenges.

The memorandum of understanding with the university is expected to facilitate the implementation of research programmes and geological studies, the execution of training programmes and the development of scientific capacities for both ministry employees and Al al-Bayt University specialists.
