AMMAN — A source at the Royal Hashemite Court on Wednesday confirmed that the wedding ceremony of HRH Crown Prince Hussein and Miss Rajwa Alseif and all related celebrations will be held exclusively in Jordan.
There are no plans to hold any of these events outside the Kingdom, the source said, as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The source denied information circulated in a number of foreign media outlets over the past 48 hours that claimed that the ceremony was being prepared to be held on the Italian island of Sardinia. The Crown Prince's wedding is actually scheduled to take place in Amman on June 1, the source said.
