AMMAN — Awqaf Minister Mohammad Khalaileh on Thursday stressed the importance of the Amman Message in highlighting the true image and principles of Islam, which is based on justice, tolerance and acceptance.
Inaugurating the launch of the 44th International Scientific Session conference, attended by 70 participants from 24 countries, he explained the principles of the Amman Message, and said that Jordan has shouldered the responsibility of showing the true image of Islam after several anti-Islam and anti-Muslim campaigns, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The minister added that these sessions aim to foster a dialogue among the scientific community and “ensure the prevalence of mind and wisdom”.
