Anti-plastic bag awareness campaign held in Aqaba

AMMAN — The second awareness campaign that includes the distribution of fabric bags for bakeries was kicked off in Aqaba. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the dangers of plastic bags, and encourage the public to replace them with fabric alternatives.
The campaign witnessed the participation of the Royal Marine Conservation Society of Jordan (JREDS) and Urbaser Jordan, a global environmental management company, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
