UNDP to support fund for reconstruction of Al Aqsa

AMMAN — UNDP signed a cooperation agreement on Sunday with the Hashemite Fund for the Reconstruction of Al Aqsa and the Dome of Rock.
The agreement aims at facilitating the implementation of the rehabilitation project of Sultan Suleiman and Salah El Din streets in Jerusalem that is funded by the Islamic Development Bank and the EU at a total cost of $22 million.
HRH Prince Ghazi, Chief Adviser to the King for Religious and Cultural Affairs and the King’s Personal Envoy and chairman of fund’s board of trustees, attended the signing.
