Jordan’s Azzam takes skiing title in Dubai

AMMAN — Jordan’s winter sports star Suhail Azzam has given us a timely update on his form by winning at the UAE Snowboard and Ski Championships held at the Dubai Ski Centre, according to the Jordan Olympic Committee News Service.
Azzam took the slalom ski title after clocking the fastest time, followed by the UAE’s Hassan Al Fardan, in second, and Argentina’s Andreas Herbon in third.
Azzam, who represented Jordan at the 2017 Asian Winter Games, is preparing for the World Ski and Snowboard Championships that will be held in Sweden next year.
