‘Yarmouk University looks to cooperate with Japanese counterparts’

IRBID — Yarmouk University President Rifaat Faouri and Eisaku Ikegami, the second secretary at the Japanese embassy, discussed on Sunday means to boost scientific, academic and cultural cooperation between the Irbid university and Japanese universities.

Faouri commended Japan’s educational system and highlighted the importance of benefiting from its experience to develop Jordanian human resources. He added that the university is ready to accept Japanese students who wish to complete their studies in Jordan.

Ikegami commended the high level of Jordanian educational institutions, expressing his interest in boosting cooperation by organising cultural activities and programmes.
