Water minister, French and Turkish ambassadors visit Disi station

AMMAN — Minister of Water and Irrigation Mohammad Al Najjar, accompanied by Turkish Ambassador Erdem Ozan, French Ambassador Alexis Le Cour Grandmaison and a number of water officials, inspected the facilities of the Disi pumping station in the Qastal area and celebrated the station’s capacity increase to one billion cubic metres within 10 years, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Najjar noted that the strategic Disi project’s water budget supplies 100 million cubic metres of water per year. He expressed his appreciation for the project's French and Turkish sponsors and partners as well as the donors who supported the project.
