US embassy refutes reports of State Department welcoming flight resumption between Jordan and Syria

AMMAN — The US embassy in Amman on Wednesday refuted reports in some section of the media that the State Department's Deputy Spokesperson Jalina Porter welcomed the resumption of commercial flights between Jordan and Syria during a press briefing on Tuesday.
The US embassy, in a statement, clarified that Porter later in the press briefing said that the US is “reviewing the announcement” of the resumption of commercial flights between Jordan and Syria.
