US embassy to hold science event for schoolchildren

AMMAN — The US embassy said on Wednesday it will hold a science event for schoolchildren and their families on Friday from 3-7pm at the Haya Cultural Centre.
The programme — featuring Tim “Mr Science” Perkins, “who believes that anyone can understand science” — will include science demonstrations and interactive shows, an embassy statement said.
Attendees will explore the mobile science bus, watch a film in the planetarium, and visit other science stations presented by Children Museum Jordan.
