Umniah donates JD50,000 in support of families of fallen officers

AMMAN — Umniah Mobile Company has presented a donation of JD50,000 to the Jordan Armed Force-Arab Army (JAF) to support the fund for the families of fallen army and security personnel.
Umniah’s CEO Ziad Shatara on Thursday said the donations came as part of the company’s endeavours to support the local community and in appreciation of the role played by the JAF, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The fund was established by His Majesty King Abdullah in 2017 in recognition of fallen army and security personnel’s sacrifices and contributions to the country’s security.
