Transport minister meets with Thai ambassador

AMMAN — Transport Minister Hussein Al Souob on Wednesday met with Thailand Ambassador to Jordan Pornpong Kanittanon and discussed cooperation in the transport sector and Thai experience in rainmaking, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Souob stressed cooperation between the two countries will reflect positively on the transport sector, highlighting the memorandum of understanding, signed with the Thai government, to apply Thai technology.
He also underlined the importance of strengthening the meteorological services, especially in air navigation and aviation safety. The ambassador stressed his country's readiness to exchange technical expertise in the field of cloud seeding.
