Trade stakeholders, EWI discuss Jordan-US commercial cooperation

AMMAN — Board members of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and a delegation from the East West Institute (EWI) on Saturday discussed means of enhancing joint commercial cooperation between the Kingdom and the US.
Mohammad Tahboub, representative of the ICT sector at the chamber, said that the free trade agreement between the two countries is an effective trade contributor for Jordan and contributed to increasing the Kingdom’s exports to the US, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Ross Perot, chairman of the EWI board, said that the institute has a strategic view on the US-Jordanian relations, noting that the delegates’ meetings with His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday was “excellent, positive and stimulating” to continue enhancing ties with the Kingdom.
