AMMAN — The Industry, Trade and Supply Ministry has prepared a plan to monitor shops across the Kingdom during Eid Al Adha, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Tuesday.
Starting from the second day of Eid, inspectors will focus on bakeries to ensure there is sufficient bread and that shops are abiding by set prices.
Gas stations, butcheries and shops selling sweets, furniture and electronics will also be monitored. By celebrating Eid Al Adha, or the feast of the sacrifice, Muslims mark the end of the Hajj, or the greater pilgrimage to Mecca.
