Suspect arrested in alleged racketing case

AMMAN — Public Security Department’s investment protection unit has arrested a suspect involved in alleged protection rackets, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday.
The department began its investigations following a complaint from an investor owning a medicine company in Amman, who reported that the suspect asked him to pay amounts of money.
The investigation team was able to gather information and identify the suspect who had criminal record including theft and possession of illegal drugs.
