AMMAN — SPARK Jordan on Sunday announced the opening of the registration window for the Bedaya entrepreneurial ideas support programme for Jordanian and Syrian youths between 18 and 35 with creative, entrepreneurial concepts with potentially significant positive impact.
The programme commences with a four-day training, through an 11-day course on business planning.
Top 10 winners will receive cash prizes of JD8,000, JD6,000 and JD4,000 — for first, second and third places respectively — and JD3,000 for those ranking from fourth to 10th places.
Funded by the Dutch ministry of foreign affairs, the Bedaya Programme will be held in Amman, Zarqa, Irbid and Mafraq — and possibly other governorates, depending on the number of applicants. SPARK is a global non-governmental organisation present in 17 regions worldwide.
