Six-year-old suffers fatal scorpion bite in Tafileh

AMMAN — A six-year-old died on Monday after being stung by a scorpion near her house in the southern governorate of Tafileh, a medical official at Prince Zeid Hospital said.
The official said the child was taken to hospital after she was stung and had an acute pulmonary haemorrhage, which caused her death despite receiving the necessary treatment, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
