Sheyyab, Armenian ambassador discuss cooperation in health sector

AMMAN — Health Minister Mahmoud Sheyyab and Armenian Ambassador to Jordan Arshak Poladian on Tuesday agreed to activate the health cooperation agreement signed between the two parties, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During their meeting, Sheyyab and Poladian stressed the need to enhance cooperation in various health areas and develop the exchange of knowledge and expertise between both sides.
Sheyyab highlighted Jordan’s accomplishments in the health sector, mentioning its latest ranking as first regionally and fifth internationally in medical tourism.
He highlighted the development witnessed by Jordan in the pharmaceutical industry, and the export of its products worldwide. Poladian praised the high level reached by the medical sector in Jordan, and expressed his country’s keenness to enhance health cooperation.
