Shboul, UAE minister talk cooperation in Dubai

AMMAN — Minister of State for Media Affairs Faisal Shboul on Tuesday met with Minister of State for Government Development and the Future in the UAE government, Ohood Roumi, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the World Government Summit, Shboul stressed the role of the media in highlighting the efforts of the government in regard to political and economic modernisation and reform.

Shboul pointed to the importance of enhancing cooperation between Jordan and the UAE in the field of media training, praising Jordanian-Emirati cooperation in various fields.

The minister extended appreciation towards the UAE's support for the Jordanian pavilion at Expo Dubai.

Roumi stressed the strength of Jordanian-Emirati relations in all fields, noting the importance of the media's role in promoting reforms. 

The meeting was attended by the head of the UAE government's media office Saeed Attar, and the Jordanian General Consul in Dubai Assem Ababneh.

Shboul also visited the Jordanian pavilion prepared by the Ministry of Investment in the AIM 2022 Annual Investment Meeting, which is organised by the UAE Ministry of Economy on the sidelines of Expo 2020 Dubai for this year, from March 29 to 31.
