Shamali announces e-platform for Industrial Support and Development Fund

AMMAN — The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply on Wednesday launched an e-platform to serve those wishing to take part in the Industrial Support and Development Fund.

The industrial establishments can file their requests via http://industrialfund.jo/, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. Industry, Trade and Supply Minister Yousef Shamali said that the fund operations focus on the modernisation of the industrial sector, noting that through the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) non-refundable assistance, no more than JD100,000 will be made for each eligible industrial SME as part of the development plan. 

The fund also focuses on promoting exports, he said, noting that up to JD50,000 in grants will be offered for each eligible institution, which falls within the fund's exports promotion plan.
